    Hiya! I think it's awesome that you are starting nursing now!!! I am 43 and I am pretty sure I'm not the youngest in my class but I'm not sure yet. I do know there is quite a group of us that are older students and that is really encouraging! It's also encouraging to read these posts -- thank you, guys! I needed a pick-me-up today! Now I am going to go read about Fran for more inspiration!!

    Sounds like we're in the same boat. I'm 54 (55 in Oct.) and start school in 2 weeks. I was pleased to see in our orientation that there were some 40 somethings in the class so at least I won't stick out so bad!

    The oldest person in our graduating class was 54. I'm not sure how old the oldest in the next class is, but the president of the class will be 50 when he graduates next July. It's never too late to go to school to become a nurse!
