I have been lurking for a while now. I am currently in real estate but the market is awful and I just don't know if I am cut out for the business world. My previous job was as a Flight Attendant. I had a back injury that left me unable to pass the physical. Fusion of C5/C6. Then I stayed at home for 5 years and raised our child. Now I am considering going into nursing. I had thought about doing nursing when I was in my twenties but you had to have SOOOOO much math (not my best) and science. Thanks goodness that has eased up a bit. At 46 I am feeling that I can handle those subjects.
SO - on Tuesday I begin my journey at the local college. Taking 6 credit hours of general ed pre-reqs. Feeling a bit nervous.:uhoh21:
Thanks for this great forum!

if you do real estate you can do the nursing math. I owned an insurance agency I was successful but i was unsatified. I sold it and went back to school at age 45 and i have just 1 semester left of my RN.... But my Hubby says i am now hooked on school. You can do it It is a wonderful carreer for people of our age. I think our life experience brings alot to the table.
Good luck and welcome
