Nursing student new to the forum

Hi all,

My name is Kyle, and I am a student in the dual degree ASN/BSN program at Castleton State College in Vermont. I have been lurking around the forum for a while and decided to start posting.

I have been in college for a few years now (since I graduated high school in 2007), and decided last semester to change my major to nursing (I didn't feel like Computer Information Systems was going to take me far). Of the five majors I've had (plus aircraft maintenance training from the Air Force), nursing has been the most interesting and rewarding field of study. I am almost done the first semester of nursing courses, and I'm excited to continue learning. I hope to attend the University of Vermont for their FNP master's degree program after working for a few years.
