I'm new here in the last week or so and I love this site! I find myself spending faaarrrr too much time surfing here and not enough time with my nose in the pathophysiology book. I am an older student (late 30's) and have two young children and a great hubby. I am finishing my prereq's this semester and will start an accelerated BSN program (five semesters - 20 months) in May. I have been a stay-at-home mom for three years now and I love getting back into school. I am really excited about starting nursing school
and just tickled that I even got in (they really want me
!) There are so many people trying to get into nursing school and so few slots around here. I have been on the wait-list at the local community college for two years and still wouldn't have gotten in til Spring of 06. So, I'm feeling like I've just been invited to join the coolest, most exclusive club around.
I do have a question: has anyone had +/- experiences posting in a blog format? I'm considering starting one but am worried about splashing myself to all. I think it would be a great tool to vent and also a great way to improve my writing skills.
