Hi there! I'm a newbie to this website; in fact, I'm pretty new to Nursing! I've worked as a CNA in the past--but have been a stay @ home mom for the last 7 years.
I'm about to start Nursing school
in August to get my RN. I have 3 children, ages 6, 8, and 11. I started taking college courses 12 years ago for Nuclear Medicine. That was before I unexpectedly got pregnant. Hubby and I always said that when the kids were in school fulltime--I'd go back to school. My baby starts 1st grade the same week I start school!
I'm very excited--yet nervous at the same time. I know my life is going to change dramatically when I start school. I'm somewhat of a control freak--I prefer to do everything myself; that way I know it's done and done correctly. Guess I'll be giving up alot of that power, huh? I know it's going to be hard to manage my household and concentrate on school--but that's what supportive husbands are for, right?
Anyway, I came to this website to seek support and just have some friends to converse with who are in the same field as I am. I'm hoping to meet many new people! I already have so many questions about school; I'm hoping I can get answers here!
