Newbie

  1. [FONT=Fixedsys]Hello everyone, I am a neonatal nurse working in Australia. Have been in NICU for over 20 years. Will be online when I can but working nights at the moment. Managed to find time during a break in feeds to post this. Will catch up with some of you along the way.

    Hello All. I am also a "newbie". I'm an oncology critical-care RN, worked in trauma ICU and Hospice. Becoming a member of the Army Nurse Corps (smile).

    hello Aussie nurse...I'm a newbie too!!! spent 17 years in NICU myself....can't get those little treefrogs out of my system....currently in Neurosurgery clinic, but can't help but moonlight in the nursery on the weekends...what part of Australia do you hail??? have a former supervisor there...topkat

    [FONT=Fixedsys]I work at John Hunter Children's Hospital in Newcastle, New South Wales (just north of Sydney). Prior to that I was at the Mater Hospital in Waratah, Newcastle. We are the only unit outside a capital city and have ventilated and surgical babies plus special care unit (34 beds total).
