  1. hi i'm a 24 y/o female living in san angelo, tx. i have bipolar diorder and am dyslexic but refuse to give up on my dream of becoming a cnm - certified nurse midwife. my main goal is to open a one stop shop so to speak where pregnant women can get all of their pre- and post-natal needs meet. for example i would like to have a practice in conjuction with a ob-gyn in the same building/shoping center with maternity clothing shops (with sizes for all body types from teeny tiny to so called "plus" sized), awomen only health club(specializing in meeting a womans needs throughout her life from the onset of menses to perimenopause), a pharmacy and homeopathic health store for those who require supplements and or percriptions, as well as a spa where all of the treatments are safe for women who are pregnant. this may just be a fantasy but i think it would rock to have a place like this. anywho let me know what you think.

What an incredible dream! You need a team of dedicated RMs, doulas, health care professionals, and rich investors who have the same ideals as you. Women from all walks of life would benefit from such a utopia. I wish you well on this. Keep the flame burning.

I only meant that "plus sized" is a dirty word to me, i feel that women are perfect and beautiful, no matter thier size or shape, as long as they are happy and healthy, an ideal that retail has almost forgotten when it comes to maternity clothing
