Congrats! I'm a fairly new grad myself. Graduated in Dec 2010. I have been overwhelmed as a first year nurse. I will say absorb all you can because it is completely different than nursing school. And if you don't know, don't assume.. your still in the learning phase.. ask.. and don't be surprised that some of the seasoned nurses might try to eat you alive.. keep your head up and seize each opportunity to learn something new.. congrats again!! Quite an accomplishment. Where are going to be workoing? And do you mind me asking what is the average start pay? I am relocating to the area from Arkansas and kind of seeign what different people that are relatively new nurses will be starting at... Thanks!
