New nursing student from Iowa

  1. Hi everyone! I am new to this site and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Erika and I attend St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa where I am beginning my BSN. I currently work as a CNA at an assisted living facility that caters to residents with Alzheimers disease. It is a sometimes challenging but always rewarding position. I have been a CNA for 3 years now and love it! I love the patient interaction, which by some of the posts I have read is the key to enjoying bedside nursing! I am very excited about starting my life as a nurse, and I am sure I will be posting a million questions.

to create your own new thread (the first post to start off feedback), you do this:
in any forum, go to the top yellow bar and towards the right, you will see something that reads--> forum tools. it is a pull down menu. click it. in that menu, you will see--> post a new thread. click that.
