New member "Saying Hello"

  1. What better organization could one belong to! Everyday I still am amazed to think I Finished the first step to a long awaited dream that I have wanted to do since I was a child and was to affraid that I didnt have what it took. After completing my LPN I decided that I needed to continue with my education, which that is where I'm at now I have six credits to complete to receive my associates degree with no plans of stopping there. I am continuing my degree with excelsior college, and working full time as a Dialysis nurse. I love the field I'm in and would not trade it for the world, how lucky was I as a new grad to fall into such a great position where mainly RN's are employed,at this time I am the only LPN employed with this company. I work with a wonderful group of RN's that have just taken me under their wing and have treated me as an equal and have been very patient mentoring me the whole step of the way. So I would like to say HELLO! to all and tell you I am honerd to be part of this wonderful group of people who really do make a difference on a daily basis.

Hello, Sounds like things are really clicking for you. I also look forward to starting my employment, I have been introduced to the staff and also feel like I am lucky to work with them. I start my RN program on the 15th.

Best of luck to you!! Always remember that the educational journey never ends. You could be working toward your next degree, or learning something new on a daily basis, which in this position education never ends to stay on the top, but my advice to you is live in the moment and always remember your making a difference RIGHT NOW!!!. If I can ever be of any help to you please let me know.
