1. Hello everyone ~
   I"m Sara ( 27)
   I'm currently on Maternity leave for a year. I work fulltime as Registered Practical Nurse in a nursing home near me. I can honestly say i'm getting bored working with the elderly and would like a different field.
   Can't wait to get to know everyone.:chuckle

   In Canada, do you get paid maternity leave for a year, or have you just taken off for that long?
   
   I know most other countries have much better paid maternity leave programs than the US!

   No we do get paid for the full year. Actuall I went off sick first so I have an additional 15 weeks sick if I want them. I could never go back after 6 weeks
