New from AL!

  1. Hey all, I am new to this board. I start my nursing program in Jan, got the call last week and I am super excited. I have all the prereq's done and have been waiting and waiting between dodging hurricanes. I live in lower AL and will be going to school in Pensacola. I am active duty Navy and retire in 15 months so there are a whole bunch of changes going on in my life but I am so looking forward to each step in my transition to a second career. I am also a single parent of a 16 month old and a three year old , so things get really crazy sometimes. I would never be able to accomplish any of this without the help of my wonderful mother. She is truly my best friend and my sanity check. Anyway, I have meet and greet information class to go to today and I can't wait to see who is there from my prereq classes. I am SO excited and I feel like the ball is finally starting to roll. I will let you know how it all goes.
