- by RNGUYNJ Sep 1, '12Hi guys, I graduated recently May 2012 , took the boards (NCLEX-RN) and passed , I went to go get fingerprinting done on August 24 ( about a week and a half). On my RN License Application, it asks if you ever had a license of any sort in NJ or another state, I put that I didn't. However, I had a license for a Pharmacy Tech a few years (1-2 years) and I forgot to put it in there (in the application), I haven't worked as a pharm tech for a while now and the license expired. Is this a big problem enough to for them to reject my application? any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

- Sep 2, '12 by GitanoRNRegarding your concern about the expired Pharmacy Tech license if your license was in good standing meaning there were no restrictions, just that expired I would contact the BON and advise them that you were totally concentrated on acquiring your RN. Therefore, go ahead and take care of this issue ASAP in order for you to concentrate fully on your nursing career. However, it wouldn't hurt to keep the pharmacy Tech license up to date and have it as a backup, one never knows what the future may bring. Wishing you only success as I send you a hug from across the miles.... Aloha~
