I am a junior nursing student with the University of Minnesota, and I'm looking to move to Hawaii sometime after I graduate next spring. But before I move, I think it would be prudent to get a few years of experience as a registered nurse here in Minnesota. Does anyone have any advice about what kind of patient care experience most hospitals in Hawaii look for? Based on other discussion boards, I've seen that hospitals often prefer ICU or ED experience. Is this true, or am I just way off the mark?
