Just a little about myself. I started out as a Hospital CNA then went to nursing home work. I wasnt sure if I wanted to be a nurse so I ventured as a CNA just to see if I would like the field. I then went to nursing school
and graduated as an LPN. I pasted my LPN boards the very first time. only 85 questions so you know it had to be good or bad... That was the hardest waiting time ever. I was sure I failed.. lol but god has another plan. I already had a job waiting once I past the boards... I have been an LPN for 8 years now and have grown and climbed the ladder since. I worked as a floor supervisior, unit manager, MDS coordinator and Now I am a Medicare Specialist overseeing a skilled unit. With two MDS coordinators under my wing and alot of nurses. I am IV certified, certified Resident Assessment Coordinator, I have been trained in intibation, vents, trachs. I know I know I should just go back and get my RN! That is in the plans but with 4 children. One out on her own and 3 teenagers plus a new addition.. 1 Grandbaby... Where is the time?
