It gets easier doesn't it?

  1. I'm a LPN student at Texas County Technical Institute in Houston, MO.
I'm wondering when it all starts to click. I have been a CNA for a year and a half and I'm sort of still thinking like a CNA. Some things I understand but others, I'm in left field. Can I get advice on study tips and hints in skills?

What semester are you? And what are you having trouble with, specifically? Some things click immediately, while others take a while.

I can understand being frightened after working within one mindset (CNA) for so long and moving to another (LPN). It is scary. But it can be done. I'm doing it right now. I was just issued my LPN license on 3-1 and I'm going thru that myself. Fortunately, the nurses I work with are very supportive.

Your REAL education begins the day you start work as an LPN.
