  1. Hi,

I'm Nurse Becky, currently a sahm and waiting to be accepted into nursing school. I have completed most of my pre-reqs, but still have to take A&P II and Mircobiology - I just passed my nursing admissions test and am hoping to start the actual nursing classes in the fall of '05. I want to finish my last two pre-reqs first.

I live in the Boston area with my dh and 3 kids, ages 4, 2 and 9 months.

Looking forward to joining in the conversation and learning a thing or two along the way.

    Welcome Nurse Becky!
[font=Comic Sans MS]I definately recommend you taking A&PII and Microbiology first before starting your nursing program. By the way, congratulations on passing the entrance exam! I wish you all the best in your nursing school years. It will be long and hard, but worth your while. I just graduated in May and passed the state boards. I start working in the ICU in September. You will love nursing school and you will hate it. When you start the program you will understand what I mean. Good Luck with A&P and Microbiology. Welcome to the nursing board!

Thanks so much for the kind welcome! I basically have three pre-reqs left - Human Development (which I am taking now for the summer '04 semester), Anatomy and Physiology II - taking this fall, and Microbiology - taking next spring of '05. I will be completely done will all non-nursing classes and pre-reqs after that. Then I have 5 nursing classes to take to get my ASN. Each nursing class has a clinical so I will be taking one class per semester. Hoping to graduate in the spring of 2007
