Introduction and Thank You

  1. Hello,
I am a 47 year old mother of 3 who did things a little backwards - I raised my kids first then went to college. I am in my junior year and this semester I am taking med/surg and mental health. I love school, I am enjoying everything about becoming a nurse. I am having a bit of a problem with the critical thinking on tests. Back in the OLDEN days we were not taught how to take test like students are today! However, I did find a link on here that has led me to some reading on critical thinking so I will improve!
Thank you to all who take the time to post answers to students questions. I noticed there are several "seasoned nurses" that are taking time out of their day to help us newby's! We all appreciate it. I have looked at this site before and didn't register - my ignorance! I will recommend this site to my classmates. It is awesome and thank you.

Welcome aboard. If you can survive motherhood, being a nurse is nothing. I know you're gonna make a wonderful nurse and look forward to having you join the ranks. Lots of support on this site. Great having you here.
