Introduction

  1. Hi my name is Pam and I am currently working in a LTC facility as ADON. The job is very frustrating. Any one been there before? I am seriously thinking about a different way to use by nursing education. I worked in LTC as an LPN and continued as RN. I know all jobs can't be that stressful. Any ideas for a change?

welcome to allnurses.com! i am also an rn working in ltc; was an lpn for 16 years, the got my rn (bsn). yes, the job can be stressful, can't it? it may be that you need to change facilities, too. why not check your state forum? go to: http://allnurses.com/forums/f131/ and find your home state.

    good luck!
