insulin syringe question.....

  1. 0 Can anything other insulin be drawn in a insulin syringe? I'm puzzled because somewhere along the line in school I learned there is a difference with the measurements of units v/s ml.... plz help

    The syringes we use say 100 units = 1ml, making an insulin syringe essentially a 1ml syringe. However, to be safe keep the insulin syringes for insulin and use a tuberculin syringe for other meds.
