i have been reading post for over a year now and i finally received my acceptance letter to an ADN program so i deceided to post. i worked very hard to complete my prereqs and maintain a high gpa. and after a year of late nights, i will enter nursing school
in the fall 2005!! :hatparty:
i received my fair share of questions like, "why don't you go to medical school?" well...because i do not want to be a doctor. i WANT to be a nurse!! i currently work as a CNA and i love the caring aspect of nursing. i want to be a nurse, not a male nurse or any other crafty name to try and reclaim my macho status. my heart is what got me into nursing and that is what i have to offer my patients. and so, it does not matter what my gender is. i just want to be called "NURSE."
best of luck to all pre-nursing students
