I am THANKFUL For...

  1. As a nurse of 30 years who has worked in a variety of roles, I want to let all of my fellow nurses know that I am THANKFUL FOR YOU! You have been awesome, caring, supportive coworkers. You have also taken wonderful care of my family members when they needed care...my niece who survived a head injury, my father who died from cancer, my 17 year old son who smashed his finger in the car door and drove himself to the ED. He obviously knew he didn't need me as he had YOU! You do make a difference in peoples lives.

I am also thankful for the Magnet Program as it offers us hope to have an improved workplace so that we can experience joy in our work again. As I read postings, it sounds like many are losing hope. I encourage us all to look to the positives. There are many new books, articles, conferences, etc educating leaders on what makes for a happy workplace. May God bless all of you this holiday season.

I am thankful for becoming a nurse. Nursing has provided me with 31 years of income, friendship, learning, and of course STRESS but I wouldn't have had it any other way.

I'm thankful for my family, their health, and our good Lord above. I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving.

I am thankful to live in America, one of the few countries that allows freedom of speech, freedom of religion and equal rights for all.
    God bless America

I'm thankful for my supportive parents, my brother, SIL, and two nieces. And I'm thankful for the yet to be born twin girls that db will be having.

    I'm thankful I found a profession that I love.

I'm thankful that women generations ago fought for my right to vote.

But most of all, I'm thankful for Democrats.
