I would contact the school that you are wanting to attend only they can decide if you prevous classes would be counted for them, every school has different guidelines and rules Good luck to you

Even if they do not transfer towards degree credit I would still encourage you to become a nurse. Nursing offers a lot of flexibility in career choices. If that is not important to you now, I promise at some point in your life you will wish you had more options. I say go for it!

    purplemania,

I have heard that a lot. My aunt lives in TX, how is the market for nurses up there? I am also afraid of my financial situation...I just finished college and I do not think I can get financial aid again, but I want to be a nurse very much so. I am a single mother and need to improve my life. Medical Assisting was just to get me in the door, but is it does not give me much satisfaction. I can do everything a nurse does, I am just not a nurse....

I too have the same situation as Vicky 3.
I have been told that you can take a test to get your LPN if you have Associates in MA. I am loking into that. I problaby will not do anything until after the holidays. I will let you know as soon as I find out.

Welcome. Definately contact the school. Hopefully some of the courses will transfer if they are of the proper credit hours.

    Good luck to you!
