Hi, I am a 31 year old LPN. I have been a nurse for 2 years and working in long term facility. I am looking to advance my career because I am feeling limited in the LPN field. It seems that I am unable to utilize the skills I have in working only in doctors office and LTC. I love nursing but maybe someone can tell me how to spread my wings without stopping work and going back to school fulltime. Hope to get to know some fellow nurses who share my intrests.

Welcome to allnurses.com! Nice to meet you.
When you can, check out the Ohio State Forum at: http://allnurses.com/forums/f167/ and the LPN/LVN Forum at: http://allnurses.com/forums/f99/ . Have you ever considered Home Health or Hospice as a line of work?

Hi.... I'm just north of Cinci near PKI..... Just finished a PN program and am awaiting my ATT so I can take the NCLEX. I didn't even give myself time to settle before starting back to school really. I'm going to start at Sinclair next month taking a few of the classes I can take w/o my license. As I already have a degree, plus the PN program, I will have advanced standing in the ADN program..... also, there's not the 2 1/2 year wait to contend with.
Where to you plan on bridging?
