I have been gone from the forum for quite awhile. I have noticed since getting back online that a couple of forums are now requiring a post count otherwise they boot you out. I hope this isn't the case here. :wink2:
I do like this forum very much. It enables me to kind of keep my finger on the pulse of the medical community. Even though I no longer have contact with the medical community because I am retired I still like to "know what's going on".
I moved out of the big city (Atlanta)......went to Santa Fe, New Mexico area (actually Pecos Valley) for a month and then made my way back to Arkansas. I now reside in Arkansas.......half way between Ft. Smith and Little Rock. This is such a beautiful place to live with lots of water all around. I am quite happy here..........making new friends and having new life experiences. It is all wonderful. If you have never experienced Arkansas you will be surprised at what you find. They named the state right when they called it the "Natural State".
I hope you all will permit me to continue to "hang out" here and stay connected with you. I will throw in my 2 cents worth from time to time just so you know I am still alive and kicking.
I wish the very best to all of you in all of your endeavors, adventures and in your careers. I know it can be very tough for you............sometimes very, almost dangerous. Just know that nurses ARE appreciated by patients and their families and very much needed to keep the balance in your field. Nurses, the most abused and underappreciated group of professionals out there..........I salute you!
