Just thought I would post a quick introduction here. I'm 20 years old and after living the past two years overseas, I am entering college in the US with a goal of majoring in nursing.
I had toyed with the notion of being a nurse on and off for a long time but several members of my family constantly discouraged me from doing so because they felt my math skills would never be good enough. Well! I'm here to prove all of them wrong (especially since I got done taking my ACT and tested rather high on it for someone who's been out of high school for a little over 2 years now). Hopefully, I should start taking pre-req's in January (my goal is to go ahead and get a BSN now since, in the distant future, I would like to advance even further in nursing).
I believe it took living overseas and not starting college right away for me to fully decide what I wanted to do with my life. I also learned to appreciate education much
more during that time!
I said this was going to be short and I would like to keep it so.
So, hello everyone! I look forward to getting to know all of you and hopefully garnishing some great tips and knowledge from you guys along the way.
