Hi!

  1. Just signed on! I am obviously new to the forum & looking forward to sharing with everyone. I am back after a 4 year break, & currently working full time + in a great nursing home/sub acute facility in MA. I am learning so much. Although, I have been an LPN since 1979, my primary experience has been with pedi, now I am back to geri. What an experience I am having. I am feeling a little lost I must admit. Has anyone gone through this? Anyway, I have decided to stop feeling like this. I am looking for a good program, possibly on line, so that I may continue to work full time, to become an RN. I don't care how hard I have to work for it.

    Hi ERIC, Hi Tweety,
Thank you for the quick welcome. I would never judge one by typos that may or may not be present in their posts. I am not a champ speller either, besides, what is up with sweating the small stuff anyway?
Eric I will take your suggestion and follow the link you have provided. Thank you.

Just so you know that's my "signature" and I wasn't taking to you directly, just making a statement because I tend to make so many typos. LOL

Hello and Welcome to ALL Nurses, Goinforitlpn!
I kind of understand a bit of what you are going through. Spent 16 years working critical care oncology, then went into Hospice, now (shudder) making the big leap back into hospital nursing...
    Anyway, Welcome!
