    Welcome to the group.

    Which program are you using?

I use Rue Publishing. They are very expensive and I could gone through Excelsior College for half the cost for the same thing. I find that home study is very challanging and hard to stay on task at times.

    Hi, and WELCOME !!!

There are numerous posts here about Rue... you might want to go back through some threads on the Distance Learning forum.

I, and many others here did (or are currently doing) the Excelsior Program.

Yes, you must be SERIOUSLY self disciplined and self motivated to do a home study program... but I loved it, and wouldn't have done it any other way. It fit the bill for me, as I worked fulltime as well. Kids have flown the nest, so that was a big plus as far as study time.

Hope things go well for you... do check out the disatance learning forum, though !

any good thing will need some sacrifice for planting. I'm an LPN student but is also interested in RUE's program for RN. I've already talk with PJ (Pamela James) of RUE. My school is workin out a program where we can get a study now pay later scheme and RUE will even be responsible in giving us job placements. RUE's is a great program bec there's no time pressure on when you'll finished unlike other home study programs.

With a little more sweat and hardwork and time management (on top of what you are doing now), I know you can make it. I know you'll be one great success stories someday. Be hopeful!

By the way, how's life as an LPN? any advice?
