Hello from Las Vegas

  1. Hi everyone, i just moved here in Las Vegas. I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and i'm already eligible to the NCLEX. i applied at the California state board of nursing. I am planning to take the exam a month from now. my concern is, if i pass the NCLEX in california, obviously i'd be licensed there. but i live in las vegas and i'd like to know how to go about the procedure in applying for a license in nevada thru reciprocity once i become an RN. i hope someone can bring light into this matter. thank you.:spin:

Good luck. Contact the BON in Nevada and they can help you.

Hi and welcome to the site

There is no such thing as reciprocity what you do is follow BON for endorcement although being foreign trained you may have meet other requirements. check out the international forum, plenty info there

Thanks Anna. I was able to find out the requirements for licensure by endorsement here in Nevada through their nursing board website. Whew...spending most of my time reviewing for this test, Goodluck to me :spin:
