Hello from a Nursing Student.

  1. Hi everyone.

My name is Cindy (22). Married to Jason (35) for over 6.5yrs now. We have 2 little boys, Erik (5) and Jack (20m) We live in a little town in NW Pennsylvania.

Both my husband & I are in Nursing School (RN) at the moment. We started Aug 6th and will be done May 09'. Our 1st semester is coming to an end quicker then we thought. I have attended school at Penn State starting Jan 06' when I was 7m PG. I slowly got my pre-reqs out of the way. My husband has a Bachelors in Psychology and one in Criminal Justice. Also a degree in Dental Tech. So I'm hoping this is his last stop! (he's going on to Anesthesia but needs to be RN 1st)

So far the schooling stinks. Okay, it's not too bad, I just HATE mornings and the day of clinical we have to be up at 4:50 and out the door at 5:30 to get the kids to the sitter and be at the hospital at 6:45 for clinical. Something you get used to I hope. It's also harder b/c I have my husband in class with me so finding time to study is harder b/c we have 2 little ones at home. I just can't ask him to watch them so I can study b/c I know he need to also. But we choose to do this and we will make it through. Overall it's not too bad. My fear is not passing though. (I have an A so far, 94.something so I'm just barely holding an A. 93.9 is a B!)

I've gone on enough so I'll stop typing. I think I will like it here. Can't wait to get to know all of you.

    Cindy

Good luck Cindy. Sounds like your fear is not making an A, rather than failing. LOL
