Hello from a 2nd year nursing student in Chicago, IL

  1. Hi,
I'm new to forums, so here goes:
My name is Caroline and I live in Chicago. I'm studing at a local community college for my AA in nursing. I'm in my second year. I already have a bachelors degree in a non-nursing subject. When I finish, I'd love to start out on a Med-Surg floor and work my way to become a surgical scrub nurse.

My family is from CA and there's a small possibility I'll move back there one day. Any advice about license transferring would be helpful!

Thanks and I look forward to reading the forums!

    and welcome to allnurses.com

great to have you with us, caroline.

when you pass nclex in illinois all you need do is contact the ca bon for license endorsement. very simple. you will not need to take the nclex again.

    enjoy the forums.
