by ecugirl06 Jan 31, '12Hello! I am new to the nursing field and have decided to take this route because of a degree I've had for 6 years, that basically got me nowhere. I have lots of experience in the care field by taking care of my mom for the past 6 years with her disease. I have met all her nurses at the hospital she goes to and they have inspired me, as well as several friends and family members. It hasn't been a fun ride and it still isn't, but with all my patience I feel this will be the right place for me. I am taking the CNA class at the local community college where I live and then I hope to pick up a job and work on my RN. Nice to meet you all and I enjoy reading all the different posts.
