Hello, everyone!

  1. I am an LPN student just finishing my first of four semesters. I am glad to get a break for a few weeks! I just returned to school this past August after dropping from college 9 years ago. I am 32 years old, married for 13 yrs with 2 children, ages 8 and 6. Prior to returning to school, I was a full-time homemaker and stay at home mom. I am learning a lot in school and am finding it to be very challenging. I look forward to meeting others here with similar interests. Bye for now.

    Hi PN143!

I am also a working Mom/student and starting clinicals on 1/8/07. I wish you the best of luck. The first semester I was a nervous wreck - it gets better. None of the classes are "easy" but they are doable. This forum is fun, alot of venting too. So hope to hear from you sometime.

    ElenaStudent,
Thanks for the encouraging words. Best of luck to you as you start your clinicals. Our first clinical was in geriatrics, what area is yours going to be? I learned a lot in clinical, there are just some things you can't learn just by being in the classroom. Again, good luck and hope to talk to you again soon.

Awesome for you!! I salute ALL moms who go back to school (and especially for something so totally rewarding!)
I have 4 daughters and went through school pregnant and a husband overseas! It was a challenge, but I did it!

I am so glad to be back on this forum. I do enjoy reading the posts and once again congrats!!!

    Hi!
I don't even know yet. We have orientation on 1/4, maybe we'll find out then. Stay in touch. Elena
