Hello!!!!!

  1. Hey everyone! My name is Shani and I am currently enrolled in nursing school. I am in block two, I finish in November, and am employed as a Nurse Extern 1 in the PACU (which is where I desire to be when I graduate). I have come by this website while trying to find a program for my PDA to help me while at work. I can't seem to find any program for that type of nursing. Anyway, if anyone knows of anything I would appreciate the feedback.

In addition, I am completely honored to be joining the RN workforce! It is about time for me; approximately 19 years past due.

You will get what you want if you go to a book store and ask a salesman/saleswomen for an advice!!!!
I hope you will become an RN soon!!
    Good Luck!

I have done that unfortunately I wasn't able to get anywhere. Hopefully I will come across one on line at some point. And, thank you for your well wishes for me. I am confident that I will be done in November and I will be joining one of the best careers in the world.......nursing.

Have you tried Barns and Noble Book Store, I am sure they have the on-line service....sometimes, you have to call them up.... Barns and Noble is the biggest book store in the country.
I hope this will lead to something....
    Good Luck!!!

Well, welcome to you as well!!!!!

And Chuck, I know it is. Here is the thing......I know that the first 15 minutes they are in the PACU they are considered critical care patients. It is easy to send them back into an anesthetized state, and I know that I need to know what the meds are that can reverse the effects of narcotics and versed (that is the easy stuff). Yet, I know that there is wayyyyyyy more to it than just that.

I am wondering if ciritical care nursing is really what I should zone in on. Hmmmmmm........I just don't know. Are there any PACU nurses out there that can answer any of this? If so, please respond.

And Chuck, thank you so much. I sincerely appreciate all the help that I can possibly get.
