I am looking for any LPN that has had a problem in dealing with the state nursing board. I am in Arkansas and am having a problem with our state board of nursing. I have been lied to, misled, and set up. (no really) Documentaion was destroyed at my hearing and even with absolutly no evidence of any kind including a police investigation I had my license suspend for 1 year and then was placed on probation for 4 more years. One of the reasons that I was given was that I had had physiciatric problems and was on antidepressents. NOw tell me who hasen't been on them at some point. I have been on medication for most of my life (my problem is caused by a chemical imbalance) and am under control. My depression has never affected my job perfomance and I have been a nurse for 27 years. Until this happened I had never had so much as a bad evaluation. If they have treated me this way and lied to me surly someone else has had a simular problem.
Please help anybody. I've tried everything else I can think of and nothing has helped. I've talked to numerous attorneys and all of them have said "I don't deal with anything conserning state board. I have written all my elected officials expect the president and have even tried to get a meeting with the governor. I got his aide indtead.
I really need some suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:angryfire:angryfire
