German Nurse relocating to USA says hello

  1. Hi everybody!
Next year my family and myself are relocating to the States from Munich, Germany. I "stumbled" across this amazing website and hope it will prepare me for what lies ahead.....
I have been an ICU nurse for the past 10 years and at least most of the time am still enjoying myself immensely! I'm 31 years old and have two children who are 5 and 7. My husband is also a nurse but has decided that the process for getting his RN in the States is just beyond him at this point.
I grew up in Massachuesetts but left after High School to go to nursing school in Germany...(??????) Loooong story. Met my husband shortly thereafter, and have been trying to convince him for the past 12 years LOL that we should move to America. Now the time has come!
Looking forward to reading lots of interesting posts and to get lots of information and a look into what it's like to be an RN in America!

    Herzlichen Willkommen.

You're going to love this site, so stick around !

Munich is one of my favorites, but then, so is all of Bavaria.

So when are you moving over here, and where will you be relocating to?
