Crazynurse Lpn-slowly Going For Rn

  1. Hi everybody! Well I work on a 60bed all male unit that just has gone to palliative care. It's getting kind of tough--patients dying frequently-- right now our census is 48 and the pt's we're receiving are HIV and cancer end of life pt's.

Yea! It's a trip sometimes! Lots of night's we are 1 RN and me- plus 4 nursing assistants! But the guys are great, we still have a few world war 2 patients,we also have Vietnam and Gulf war patients too.It breaks your heart when their familys don't visit.
