    Hi

I am Archie a current evening nursing student at Widener. I hope to have my BSN by 2008. I came across this site while googling nclex info. After reading several posting thought it might be helpful to become a member. My long term goal is to become a CRNA.

    Good Luck to everyone

Hi, I am new here and I start my first-year in nursing school. I am very excited and anxious to see what I am getting myself into. Although, I feel I have a love for it, I know there is a lot of sacrificing and determination needed in order to be successful in this program. Thanks for all the positive replies also negative (it gives me something to look forward too) :wink2:

Hey to everyone...I am brand new, so I decided to post for the first time. I am trying to start back in nursing. I completed one semester in an associate degree program, and we had to move. It took some time to complete the requirements for the local bsn program, but I am almost there. The program is extremely competitive. I just completed the NET, so that was something new for me. The good news is that I passed on the first try. Hopefully, I will be starting in January. They only take 40 students, so we will see.....

Well, I'm in the same boat ---- new member, that is. How I wish I could compare more! This forum is such a wonderful resource - even though I'm just starting my first class of countless ones, I've already spent hours on here and has saved me so much time and money, and hopefully, headaches.

I currently live in Maine, have a 17 year old son (who is just beginning driver ed, ugh!). I'm a Born Again Christian (3 years) but have to say that I am not one of those thumpers, LOL! How that happened is a long strange trip, I started out Catholic, tried all kinds of religion, no religion, etc. Then I ended up in AA (1985). I learned so much about tolerance, and the fact that God works miracles in EVERYONE's life, not just the "special" (wink) people.

So along with being sober I've also had to deal with my mental health issues, depression/bipolar, anxiety, oh fun fun...

SO - feel free to say hi, in this thread or through a private note! Happy you are here, lots of wonderful people! God bless! :hatparty:

Feel free to post on this thread, and if I see you "around" I will say hello![/QUOTE]
