Hey Cutie, I like your name, LOL!

Hey, try the pre-nursing forum if you haven't already, it will be other high school students, or college students, who want to go into nursing.

    Hi Everyone!

My name is Rachel. I am a 22 year old, married, mother of two healthy boys! I have just finished my first semester and finished with a 4.0 GPA! Now, I'm crazy enough to go back for more, and plan on taking two classes this summer (A&P 1 and my second, and last, remedial math), and I plan on taking four classes in the fall (A&P 2, Microbiology, Political Science, and College Alegebra).

Pretty nervous about the coming up semester, but I'll just take it one day at a time, like I do everything else.

I plan on first: getting my associates in nursing, then getting my bsn through an accelerated program. I'm trying to take the substitute classes that will transfer so I won't have much to take when I go back to get my BSN. After that, I plan on getting my masters.

Good luck out there to all you pre-nursing students, especially the ones of you with kids! And to all you nurses, keep up the good work!!!

I am a new member and recent graduate of ADN school (5-17-05). Wife x 14 years and mom to two boys-one 9 and one 11. I start work June 20th on med-surg floor at the largest hospital in our state. Talk about experience. I did my transition at this hospital and my learning experience during that time was awesome. It is oh so true that experience is the BEST teacher.
I look forward to communicating with you all and hearing all the interesting ideas and opinions each of you have to express.

Hello, Everyone I am new here. I am 25 and have a B.S. in Physiology and now I am currently enrolled in a 30-month Diploma RN program here in New Jersey and hope that everything will go well. After completing the RN program I want to pursue a Master's in Nursing or Public Health. I'm nervous but also excited.

All the best to the nursing students and nurses working very hard. Keep up the good work.
