Hi SunnyHill, welcome! Two suggestions, one is to go to the nursing student forum, and the other is to do a search on "care plans" -

Hello, I have read several notes on different subjects. Can someone tell me what the age requirement is for becoming a nurse either RN or LPN. I am 57.
I have always been interested, but never thought I could get through the math classes.

Hello to all...have received the bulletin for years, thought it was about time to register so I can reply to things that I see...I am a LPN of 30years,with a BS in Psychology,Social Work and a minor in Alcohol/Drug ...I have worked in many fields during these years but enjoy Med/Surg.perhaps the most in a hospital setting...I am a widow, mother of 6 and yes,I went back to school getting my LPN first, then went on to college, working nights and going to school days..It can be done with good family support and the will to succeed! I am now disabled but continue to keep up with new things in medical field and still do CEU's etc.so I don't fall behind. Thanks for your welcome...

I'm sure there is no age limit and I hear tell of many women in their 50's who start school. I think it's WONDERFUL!

As to math, oh gosh I was horrid in both math and science, but I got thru with flying colors because I was so motivated by the end result - got extra help after classes when I needed to and it was surprisingly easy!

Good luck, let us know how it goes!
