    Hello Everyone,

I am a new grad getting ready to take my NCLEX for the second time. Really just had to step up on preparing, and since we've had 3 hurricanes in the last 14 months, school was very distracting. We'll hope to hear from everyone here and there, and interested to see if any information on here will help.

Toby, I hope things STAY quiet for you! Good luck with your exams!

    Hi All,
RN here. This is a great site and I have spent hours reading the forums. It's nice to see a place like this for nurses to get some info and support. Have been thinking about going back into nursing and found this site as I surfed the web looking for job opportunities.

Did you have a chance to check out our career forum? For nurses starting out or changing focus. Hope it is helpful!

Jasmin, great, I'm glad it helped! Let us know what you end up doing! You might want to try working as a nurses aide to see if you like that kind of environment (it's hard work but will teach you a lot!)

    Take care!

Hi all my first trip on the website and still not sure exactly how it works! However, will give this a try. I'm a retired RN but have become involved with establishing a Health Ministry at my church. You know how we always get drawn into projects and then become the chairperson of the committee? That's me...Trying now to obtain a Parish Nurse position for the new year. Currently there are no funds, but hopeful of a grant coming through!
Would like to hear from others who have had success in obtaining funding, etc., and how you convinced your finance committee this is a good thing to fund!
