Nor, try not putting your posts on specific questions or topics that you want to discuss in the Intro & Greeting forum. They will get lost there if you do. I just moved one of yours to another forum this morning for just that reason. Instead, choose your topic that you want to discuss and then post it in the forum that is best suited for it. If maternity, go to the Ob-Gyn forum. If dealing with a surgical patient, go to Med Surg. Here is the link that will give you the list of our forums. Using the best matched forum for your post will get you answers.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks Wolfie!

Hi Nor, welcome! What kinds of inquiries were you making?

Sometimes it takes a good 24 hours to get a reply because people just come on once a day. Also, if there is no reply then a thread will move further back on the list itself. For example, if no one posted to this thread here, it would get "lost in the shuffle". You can bring it close to the top of the list by posting on it again.

You seem to have "how to post" down pat - OH another thing is if your thread title gives an idea of what the question is, that can give people info enough to be interested in the topic and reply.

    Good luck!
thank you so much for your advice xxx

Hi, I'm new here. I am 23 years old and attend Nebraska Methodist College of Nursing. I am in my third year and can't wait to finish! Currently I am in the OB rotation and I like it a lot. I am also drowning in school work and am currently trying to get 3 papers done and getting ready to move into a new apartment.. Talk about stress!

I am so glad I found this website! After walking off my HR director position a few years ago, I cound not find employment anywhere! It has become a who knows who job market. I finally went back to college and completed my degree in Psychology/Sociology and decided that a degree in Nursing would be a great fit. I am on my first semester of nursing and plan to complete the ADN and move on to a BSN. I have never worked so hard; my BA was a breeze compared to nursing school.
I read a few threads last night from current students and feel like they do. It is hard the first semester, but I will triumph!

I passed thro same experience too. My dream was tobe a specialiezed in OR.
During the enitial stage I felt I can't do it. but letter on, I did the self analysis. tried to rule out mistakes. and gave positive commands to the sub consius mind that I am doing it well. After few weeks exercise I got excellent result in my clinical setting. I think this way you can improve your self. you just need to stop thinking that you are afraid of failing.
