American Indian Nurse New Member

  1. Hello, Y'all. Am new here but am a long term nurse. Had started my nursing career in 1974 as a LPN, 1988 ADN, 1991 BSN, and 2006 MS. Am an online AI student at University of Minnesota in Public Health Nursing but live in Oklahoma. Have 2 grown daughters, a 13 y/o son, 2 grandsons, and 2 grandpups. Am in my next to last MS semester and am feeling burnt out but am beginning to look at PhD programs. Longterm goal is to teach nursing and do research for American Indian communities. Am presently employed as a staff RN in a small community hospital in an OB unit. Am looking for resume hints and formats to do a career change in the near future. Am excited to be here and am willing to contribute as needed. Thanks.
