Is it very easy for me to look for a job in your state. I only have almost 6 months experience in ICU....and a year in Med/Surg.
If I work for the agency, how much money you think they will offer to me. In New York...some agencies offer about $ 500 a 12.5-hour shift. I hope the agency in your state will offer me a similar package.
I would be very happy to hear the answers from you.
By the way, is it very expensive to live in Hawaii...how are the people over there...friendly...I suppose!!!

    Hi there,
My husband just received orders to Oahu for May 1st. I'll be finishing nursing school in 3 weeks and applying for jobs and the NCLEX very soon. Can you please tell me a little about the shortage in HI? Is it hard to find a job or do they have a shortage like the mainland? Thanks in advance for any information that you might have.

    Hi,
I am a Canadian nurse and my husband to be and I are looking into relocating in Hawaii perhaps Maui.
Are you with an agency and if you are who would you recommend. I am interested in permanent placement not travel nursing.
Do you like living in Hawaii, is it difficult to find employment there?

    Merci!

    Hello Everyone.....
I too have just joined the forum and am looking for some friendly advice: good or bad! I would like to work in Honolulu starting October 2007 and was wondering where I could look for some housing. I want a permanent position so am not looking for traveling nursing unless they want to hire a new grad (which is what I am ). Any information would be greatly appreciated..

    thank you fellow nurses
