A New Adventure

  1. I am 42 and on a waiting list for a 5 semester ADN program. Just finished my prereqs in May. This is a very exciting time as I made a major life decision last year to quit my job as a dietitian and pursue nursing. I was a dietitian for 16 years and spent the last 10 in Public Health. I was always more interested in what the nurses were doing instead of my fellow dietitians!! I am no longer working at all in dietetics, instead I work in residential care with delinquent girls. The job is right in my hometown and the hours are perfect for school and I have had ample time to study as the majority of my hours are overnight. I am married, no children and my husband teaches. Glad to have found this website.
