Believe it or not, I finally recognized that I was going through the 5 stages of grief. I could write a novel about the psychological hell of the Workman's comp system, and the treatment one recieves after an injury.
Anyone have any advice or interesting stories?====Snake
Hello I am a former workers comp Enrollee and can say that i probably will never be the same again. Last Jan I fell in my parking lot at work dislocating my right shoulder and resulting in a Open Bankhart in Sept. Yeah long wait huh!
I returned to work in Oct as a receptionist answering the phone because work said it was time to come back, not the doctor. After two weeks they 1/2 my pay to what the recptionist was making. I could have stayed home making more. My DON then informed my that she was suprised to see that my workers comp case went through( I Fell in the parking lot an a snowy day getting a stethascope for an agency nurse who forgot hers). They gave away my promised postion two days away from when i was supposed to return to work. And to top things off they made me work all the holidays since I had all the summer off. LOL
And I can go on and on....
