just wanted to officially introduce myself... my name is Ash, and i am a slave... close as i can figure it the year is 1300 AD and i'm being dragged to my death... it wasn't always like this... i had a real life, once... a job...

my name is Beth and i'm a newly graduated RN... currently unemployed due to a pending a move across country... i use to be a RPN (registered practical nurse) and decided to upgrade to RN because i was sick of being told i wasn't a "real" nurse... only to find, at the end of my diploma program, that i'm not a "real" nurse because i don't have my BScN...

the majority of my experience is on med/surg floors and chronic care... with my last two work placements being 9 week internships at an ICU and on a Nephrology unit... ideally, i'd like to end up in ICU or Dialysis nursing... but until i get my Critical Care certificate, i'm planning on working med/surg...

beyond nursing, i'm into singing and playing guitar... i'm a huge Tori Amos fan, but also love Jeff Buckley, Veda Hille, Hawksley Workman and the Doors... in December i married my boyfriend of 5 years... with the wedding out of the way, i'm pretty much just focusing on finding a job...

so, i look forward to meeting you all... especially you Canadian nurses!
