New to allnurses!- intro

Hi everyone:

My name is Carole and I just discovered this wonderful website!

I have just applied to a local community college with a joint program at a local hospital for a nursing diploma. I have a BA and JD - I've been an attorney for 13 years, and am miserable doing that. I always wanted to become a nurse, and feel like this is the start of pursuing my dream. I have three children (twins in elementary school, and a toddler - 20 months!). I really hope I can manage the workload involved with classes and still needing to work. I am nervous about taking bio, chem, etc., but feel it will be worth it in the longrun.
