Introduction...

I finally joined this site today and wanted to introduce myself. I just got my nursing application in a few weeks ago (first time applicant). It will be another month until I know if I got in or not but I am hopeful. My grades are good and I have a decent number of preference points, so I have a good chance. I have worked very hard on my prerequisites. The program I have applied for is an ADN program. After I start work I want to go back and get my BSN. It has been a long road (2 years to do most of my prereqs and general education requirements and still have 4 more courses to go, including those I am taking this semester), and I know that nursing school will be even tougher. I am excited though, and ready for the hard work I have ahead of me. I am looking forward to spending more time here and getting to know everyone (or at least some of you)!
