I love this site.... hello, nurses!

Hello, my name is Amanda Hooper. I am not yet in nursing school, but am going through all the steps. I can't wait to become an RN!
I decided to be a nurse because my uncle has a very rare form of cancer (epithelioid sarcomas - 18 people in the last 20 years have had it!) and I help my aunt take care of him while she is at work. It is challenging, especially because he is family, but I really love it. I can't wait to be able to help other patients, although I don't know whether or not I will be going into oncology.
This website is full of useful information, I love reading people's questions and finding the answers because many of them are the same questions that I have! I am excited to post questions of my own and get information through others who are in my future field.
